audio output to eg. line-in

audio output to eg. line-in

Hi,

I have problem with my motherboard-integrated sound card. It's line-out jack connector got broken (maybe contact problem).
In Windows I managed to redirect output to the line-in connector, as I don't really use that.
I'd like to do the same for Linux.
I searched the web for solution and seems that I should change my /etc/asound.conf alsa config file.
However from it's documentation I was unable to put together the necessary information.
Could someone please help on this?

I have two pcm card with one device on each (should use the default):

null
