ATI Driver install error
| When installing driver I get the following error: Uninstalling any previously installed drivers. Unloading radeon module... Unloading drm module... ERROR: Module drm is in use by ttm,drm_kms_helper [Message] Kernel Module : Trying to install a precompiled kernel module. [Message] Kernel Module : Precompiled kernel module version mismatched. [Error] Kernel Module : Kernel module build environment not found - please consult readme. [Reboot] Kernel Module : mkinitrd What went wrong? My way to start the installation was the following: 1. On the boot i am add line : nomodeset 2. After the login screen appearance i am press ctrl+alt+f1 3. Loged as root 4. Committed the command init 3 5. Then started the installation of ATI drivers |
