DVD mount permissions screwed up!

DVD mount permissions screwed up!

I run Ubuntu 10.04. I used a DVD authoring program called DeVeDe and I knew I needed to run it with gksudo instead of sudo (I've screwed up before), but I forgot... aaaaaaaand now the permissions for mounting DVDs are messed up. Root is the only user who can mount or even recognize DVDs in the tray.

My solution before was to re-image the machine. This time, I'd like to get to the bottom of this problem. Can anyone help me out?

inb4 Why did you need to run it with elevated privileges?
Answer: I just did. It's beside the point.
