Installing TCL and Expect

Hello I have problem installing tcl with expect. I downloaded both packages from net and extracted to my desktop. Then i did ./configure and make on both, but i dont know how to run expect. There is an expect executable, so i try ./expect. but it says "cannot open shared object file libexpect5-40.so" something. Why is this happening? I did the ./config --with-tcl=home/knoppix/Desktop/tcl5.11/unix so it shouldnt be a problem One more question: How can i run expect? Thanks.
