32 or 64bit applications on 64bit Wine, what is safer?
| There is a piece of window$ software I would like to test out on WINE. I am running Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 64bit. I have wine 1.3 installed with winetricks. I have the option of either a 32bit or 64bit version of the window$ application. Are my chances for a successful install better with the 32 or 64bit version of the window$ application? Which is recommended? Does it matter? Any advice is welcome, thanks in advance. |
