Setquota

Hi all, I particularly enjoy using such a perfect system. I tried enabling users quotas. I succeeded, but i still mis the "setquota" function. Does someone know how to write it correctly ? I did not understand soft limit, hard limit, block, etc. These options are so abstract to me ! On the web, you just find nothing ! Does someone have an example ? thx
